Just wondering why that would be? After all, he touts twitter as his preferred method of informing the citizens, his mouthpieces say the tweets are indeed official statements. But, certain people are being blocked - why?
"there is something fundamentally unconstitutional about a president restricting access to what are definitionally public proclamations. “Twitter is many things at once,” the Institute’s executive director, Jameel Jaffer, told HuffPost. “It is a broadcast mechanism and being blocked from the president’s Twitter account means it is harder to get access to his statements on Twitter and sometimes those statements are important.... If you’re a critic you don’t have access on the same terms as everyone else.”"
Oh, wait, I see why now: it isn't so that they won't see his tweets, it is so that they can't respond to them where everyone who followers him can see the responses.
"by blocking these users, Trump is prohibiting their ability to reply to him, which in this case makes a material difference since it seems quite likely that the president reads his Twitter notifications. “We know that because he blocks his critics,” Jaffer said."
Of course, trump doesn't want to have to deal with any criticism, or explain his position, or... well, you know the drill.
Have you ever used Twitter before? There's nothing new about blocking people from your Twitter feed. There are a lot of azzholes out there, and a lot of just downright strange people. If people can't behave themselves then they can't come to the party...simple as that.

But preventing people from seeing your tweets when you are the President (because they disagree with you) is not being a leader of the country --it's being the guy who is a leader for people who bow at his feet.
That's not what the Presidency is about.
Trump seems to block those people who are very popular and very clever with their words. He is thin skinned.

Of course... flippin' control-freak. He only wants to communicate with those who kiss his ......, no one else. He's a child.

Anyone in the world, even blocked Trump deranged trolling morons, can read Trumps tweets... all they have to do is log off of Twitter.
He blocked Stephen King, one of the bestselling authors of all time who is hard on Trump, but far for "deranged." A mark of a leader is facing criticism.

You are right...it isn't the end of the world......but it's the point of blocking American citizens from what the President is saying.
In one breath President Trump brags how he communicates with the people and then the next he blocks people that criticize him.
I don't follow the President. I will check in to see what is his priority that week (I don't buy the theme of the week from The White House because the President doesn't stick with that message -- lol)
