No, he was a Trump hater and Bernie supporter actually.

Bernie said just this week:

"You should be angry. Take your anger out on the right people."

Today we call the Capitol Police heroes, but it should serve as a reminder that they are always heroes, and that our own local police are heroes, too.
Thank you for this.

Between the Kathy Griffin, snoop dog, and stabbing trump Caesar style and other incidents the left has promoted violence and hatred against political opponents. I'm not sure if this is a result of those actions yet but it's certainly a possibility.

This sheriff is talking about active shooter situations like we have seen today, and makes my point at 3:30 in this video. Notice his use of good guys and bad guys. He is not concerned with political correctness. More interested in saving lives.

Acquaintance describes campaigning for Bernie Sanders with shooting suspect

Charles Orear, 50, became friends with James T. Hodgkinson...
“You’ve got to be kidding me,” Orear said when told by phone. “I met him on the Bernie trail in Iowa, worked with him in the Quad Cities area.”

Orear described Hodgkinson as a “quiet guy” who was “very mellow, very reserved” when they stayed overnight at a Sanders’s supporter home in Rock Island, Ill., after canvassing for the senator.

“He was this union tradesman, pretty stocky, and we stayed up talking politics,” he said. “He was more on the really progressive side of things.”

He traveled a good distance to do his business and it wasn't like he was a normal "neighborhood" guy that knew the Republicans practiced at that field. His Facebook shows he is a 'anti-trumper' and Bernie Bro.
Business Owner and Union member.

When do I get a couple of officers assigned to me for protection?

Until that point, I'll continue to carry when I feel it's appropriate.
