Democrats spent a year and Republicans made 160 amendments to it. They helped create it and then refused to vote for it. Now Republicans are writing a bill that even Republicans can't see. It's a secret policy that involves no one but a very small group of Republicans. There is no comparison whatsoever.

Those GOP lies about Obamacare apply perfectly to Trumpcare - LA Times

Slate examines the GOP amendments to a Senate health care bill.

Doesn't matter. A lot of people in Appalachia, the Rust Belt and McConnell's own state of Kentucky are going to lose their health coverage. They voted for it so no complaints.

Republican voters these days are very short on logic.

It's going to be so entertaining:

Medicaid overhaul faces tough test in Trump country - POLITICO

Around here, there ain’t no jobs,’ says one beneficiary about the prospect of having to work to qualify for benefits.

That Trump is doing this to them is so good. They overwhelmingly voted for him so they get what they voted for.

Trump can be poisoning the water and air their children drink and breathe, and they would be fine with it, so I am not surprised at the people you mention in your post.
I think you meant to say the dems in Flint are poisoning the water lol.

So you're ok with Trump hiring the wedding planner of his son's wedding to oversee NY federal housing. What a joke he is She has nothing that qualifies her for this job. At least Hillary would pick someone who is actually qualified

This is why an educated electorate is important to achieving one's goals! Will they learn from their mistakes? I doubt it. And you can bet the worst is yet to come. Not just on health care.

In the past 26 years, 18 of those years Michigan had a GOP governor. The current Governor is republican and who was in charge of the corporations that dumped the toxic waste? Betting at least half were republicans.

You need to think before posting.

"Even before the drinking water in Flint, Michigan, was found to be tainted with lead—before water from some areas tested at more than twice the level considered to be toxic waste, and public-health officials said that every last child in the city should be treated as if the child had been poisoned—the governor’s office knew that the water was discolored, tasted bad, smelled strange, and was rife with “organic matter.” They knew, as one memo sent to Governor Rick Snyder in February, 2015, noted, that “residents have attended meetings with jugs of brownish water.”

I'm really waiting to see what happens on this health bill. The GOP has a tiny tiny committee creating this, they don't want anyone to see it including other Republicans. Then McConnell wants to rush it to a vote before July 4th. Now once they vote for it, the public HAS to see it. They can't hide it forever. So it's like 52 Republican senators are going to vote for door #3 and the public has to live with the results. Then those senators will have to go back home and face their voters. Voters who will eventually figure out that they voted for them to lose their health coverage and for older Americans, a massive price increase.

And a lot of conservatives whom I know were claiming falsely that Obamacare would destroy their employer provided health care. Now all evidence suggests, that this GOP bill will drive up costs for them and reinstate caps and pre-existing condition exclusions and annual out-of-pocket expenses.

None of them want to discuss it anymore. Strange!
