EUtimes report

"The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, has said that living with terror attacks – like the one that hit New York at the weekend – is ‘part and parcel of living in a big city’.
Mr Khan told the Evening Standard: ‘It is a reality I’m afraid that London, New York, other major cities around the world have got to be prepared for these sorts of things."

If Irish, French, Spanish, Greeks, Italians, Eastern Europeans aren't white, then what the heck are they? There are many people in Middle Eastern countries that are just as white as Europeans but because they are Muslim they are another race

Concrete blocks along curbs have been common on busy streets in Istanbul for decades. It was explained that these barriers were necessary to prevent drivers from routinely using sidewalks as another lane. And by golly, drivers on those streets without barriers did indeed use the sidewalks. Then again, pedestrians used the streets as sidewalks and disregarded traffic.

Many cities are already doing this in major pedestrian areas, even some in the US. Las Vegas has put in barriers on the strip for example. Not a bad idea, not just to limit vehicle terrorism, but drunken drivers or accidents.

Well this didn't turn out quite the way the rabid anti-muslim crowd was hoping, did it?

Hmm, maybe that's just what they said it was for, but I bet it works great at preventing these types of attacks as well.

I agree, it would prevent a lot of different problems. We don't really have long strips of places with pedestrians here in Houston except for downtown, and even there many people use the underground tunnels instead. But I could see it as a sporting event let out or a concert. And for those events maybe they could put up temporary barriers like they do for street festivals.

This happened in a typically diverse suburb of London, this one known as Little Algiers, a Berber ethnic majority country in Northern Africa where nearly the entire population is Muslim. Women tend to dominate university enrollments, professional jobs and increasingly out earn their husbands.

Initial reports claim three people in the car who fled on foot. Wittnesses captured one of them.

Initial eyewitness reports of anything tend to be in conflict and are often inaccurate.

No one was hoping anything. This is just as bad.

Utter nonsense. You and I both know the usual crowd was itching for another attack committed by Muslims so they could go on their usual rant, just as they started in this thread before reality got in the way.
