When I checked last, I think there were, outside of the military, around 100,000 armed agents of the government cruising around the US watching citizens.

With those numbers, you know there is going to be regular problems.

100,000? It seems like the jack-booted thugs are everywhere, and I live in a quiet little town with virtually no criminal element to be found. I wonder how much more productivity there would be in my community if these psychopaths actually produced something other than fear in the subjects of the State.

Replace "dog" with "minority" and this thread takes an entirely different tone towards the victim and the cops...

Well of course it would, to those who would inject "minority" into a thread that does not mention it.

That dog's head was down and his tail was down. He was also going wide of the cop, not coming straight at him.

It is doubtful that the dog would have attacked, but we'll never know since Mr. Trigger Happy decided to take the dog down.

Pansy ass cop.

I've had dogs come after me in aggressive ways. I called their bluff. Only one dog, in my entire life, ever bit me when I came near its property and that was because I didn't call its bluff. I was only 17 so I didn't know. I was just taught never run from a dog. No one said "don't just keep walking, either". Learned that lesson. I will call their bluff and they have all backed down.

This coward wuss just shot the dog when he could have stepped forward aggressively to call the dog's bluff. Yes, he still had time to shoot if the dog then snarled, growled, lept at him. JFC, the dog wasn't even full on running, he was doing a half saunter....that dog was not going to attack.

F! that cop.

Without those agents checking the height of fences on personal property and making sure Amish folks don't sell unpasteurized milk we'd all be dead.

Dead I tell you!

Uh huh... Let me know when you decide to call the cop who shot Philando Castile a jack-booted thug...

If a dog is running at a Human, including a Police-officer, in a manner that is perceived as meaning it may attack......I have NO problem with that Human deploying whatever force they feel is needed to protect their health and well being, up to and including deadly-force.

A dog of say, 30-pounds and up, can very well seriously injure, maim and in some cases kill a Human. The jaws, teeth and ripping-action of a dog can be a seriously threat.

A Human can bleed-out and die, in less than 2-minutes, from a ripped/torn/cut artery.

The more dog-worship and deification I see in this country, the less I feel I understand the average American.

Why would an animal be any different?

That is what the slaves have been indoctrinated to believe.
