"Telling it how it is" isn't an excuse in my book. I don’t like sugar coating things either, but that doesn’t’ mean you just say whatever is on your mind. Words have consequences, especially if you’re the leader of the free world. Literally the words of the President of the United States effects world markets, he really needs to choose his words more wisely.

Saying the right things, or not saying things at the right time are some of the qualities that makes a good leader.

please, what makes a good leader is not what he says but what he does.

if you are used to the same old politicians that say the "right" things in front of the cameras and are polish so you can feel good about your feelings and screws you and this country in close doors then that's on you.

like playing golf? going on fundraisers? meeting lobbyists? planning to bomb the next middle east country?.......LOL

his tweet didn't cost us the taxpayers a dime and didn't get anyone kill or didn't raise my taxes or my healthcare premiums.......so it doesn't bother me.

I personally think the way this President has been attacked by the media and Hollywood liberals before he even took office that he gets some slack to vent and defend himself himself with his twitter account.
It is so amazing how Trump has so diminished the presidency that conduct that is more suited for a third world tinpot dictator is now acceptable to many.

Truly SAD.

Actually, Trump is trolling you and his other supporters. While you're busy cheering him on, the GOP is cutting programs you might benefit from to give tax breaks to billionaires.

Donald Trump calling out people on their looks is truly comedy gold.

I don't disagree that what you do is one of the things that makes you a good leader, but also how you respond to things and what you say is a part of that as well.

This does't even compare to "saying the right thing" in front of a camera. There was nothing to say here, and he just went off on someone. The correct response would be to say nothing at all.

Instead of talking about the issues and trying to mend our country, we're talking about this today. And this isn't the media's fault, because I'm pretty sure that would be your excuse. His mouth is preventing us from working on the real issues, and that's not leading.

LMAO!!!! After Bubba Clinton sticking cigars in a woman's private part and cumming in her dress in the oval office and lying to the nation about it and using the oval office to protect him from a lawsuit and then get treated like a rock star by the media and liberals doesn't get any lower than that.

but for liberals this is the lowest? LOL

Trump needs to grow up and stop acting so juvenile. He's only making the divisiveness in this country worse--- poured gasoline on it today.
We have important policies to get through -- today is the important House vote on Kate's Law and Sanctuary Cities Law,
but all everyone will be talking about is Trump's idiotic behavior. He has to be in the spotlight 24/7 or he gets bored.....

It doesn't matter that the media is seriously craven and corrupted, he should be adult enough to rise above their bullying, and not up the ante with his juvenile bullying back tit-for-tat.

Actually it often does for this POTUS, as is well-documented (time stamps don't lie), something that people have frequently noted and commented on.

He was a little faster this time. His 2nd tweet took 6 minutes to post and type. Logic says his 1st tweet in that thread took at least that long since he had to formulate and start the thought before typing it, so there's at least 12 minutes. ~shrug~ Maybe longer, who knows how long he stewed and sputtered and spit and blustered before coming up with that particular insult? (Which FWIW photos contemporaneous to the event belie.)
