Trump just admitted that he can control articles in the National Enquirer...including stopping a story from being printed.
Isn't blackmail illegal?
And how does he know about the article? I mean he is using it to plant stories about his enemies. Remember the Ted Cruz and Ben Carson articles during the campaign.
You are right there. Thinking he has to respond in a juvenile manner everytime someone says something negative about him shows a lack of intelligence. Nothing wrong in pointing that out. It's amazing those around Trump can't get him to understand that.
Calling others names shows the same traits though. No, it's not quite the same but be a better person than Trump.
It's true that calling names is juvenile. But we're not parents trying to set an example for a still maturing child who needs to learn how to treat people respectfully. We're citizens of a country facing very serious issues and our leader is busy tweeting stupid things about a TV news personality. We have a First Amendment right to call him out about that. It's unfortunate if the rhetoric gets ugly, but the stakes are high.
Trump should be so busy that he doesn't have time to watch Morning Joe, of all things. I'm not the president and I rarely have the time or inclination to watch TV. And he should have a thick-enough skin, and enough respect for the office of the President that he ignores the barbs thrown his way. What he's done to the office of the President and to the standing of the U.S. in 6 months is nothing short of shameful.
Wonder if the Obstruction of Justice investigation finds out that Trump planted anti-Comey articles in the Nat'l Enquirer as part of witness tampering. Also articles against other people that threaten them in such as way that it could be considered witness tampering or blackmail.
If there are such investigations, Trump just made the investigator's jobs a lot easier because he admitted to controlling what articles go into the Nat'l Enquirer.

Exactly. Thanks, trump! I used to hope he'd quit Twitter, but he's basically doing Mueller's job for him.

Trump: "He called me to stop a National Enquirer article. I said no!"
This is an abuse of power by the White House. In his tweet he admits his own personal involvement and influence over the National Enquirer. Harassment of Joe, Mika, and especially her children, is a serious offense.
Mueller should add this to his list of wrongdoings to investigate.

No it isn't.
