I find it highly entertaining to see conservatives defend the behavior of President Donald J. Trump, behavior that would got a low level public service employee fired in most instances.
Nothing like listening to someone explain the virtues of a train wreck.
Isn't it amazing that the White House is using NE to harass people? Don't we have real problems?
Trump has a longstanding friendship with the CEO of the NE. Trump has defended the supermarket tabloid and has had articles written for it. WSJ reported last August NE paid $150,000 to prevent a story about Trump's affair with a model from being sold elsewhere.
Trump seems to prefer the likes of Alex Jones and NE to news organizations that do investigative journalism and expose lies.
As an aside, The NYT was the first to expose Hillary's email deal.
Trump got about 1/3 of the votes from registered voters, no different than Hillary.
Regardless of who was elected, it was certain he or she would not have a mandate.
I voted for Trump and did not drink the Kool aid. I will not excuse or defend this crap.
He seems to enjoy campaigning and addressing cheering crowds. The business of doing the job with dignity - not so much.
His tweets tell the world his character. Believe him.
That's right, about 25% of voting age adults for Hillary, about the same for Trump. The reason why Trump is in office is that 50% of the voting age public that didn't bother to go to the polls. If Trump supporters think he has a mandate, that is a complete delusion.
People here and in the MSM may find his tweets apalling, but he has as enormous fan base who LOVES it when he goes after the MSM.
Funny, how did you know? But seriously, two years since he came on the scene and you and others like you STILL don't get it. You still think that he just went one tweet too far. This is it. This one is going to sink him. If anything, he has smoked out the "impartial" media. Anderson Cooper wanted to look like the above-it-all "moderator." Look at him now. He's been reduced to a raggedy activist in a fine suit.
Go watch this mornings program. Joe and Mika tell about a tabloid story and calls from 3 WH upper level aids. They were told to get the story stopped, all they needed to do was apologize to Trump. Joe and Mika say her kids and ex were being stalked. They decided to not get involved. Trump's friend owns the paper.
There is more to this than we are being told.
The conversation then proceeded to discuss what the hell is the POTUS doing. The world is in a mess. People are killing and being killed all over the place. We need a solution to the out of control cost of healthcare. And the POTUS tweets and watches tv.
Is this what we have become?

We elected a reality television star as President, this is all unfolding as many thought it would. Not the Honey Boo Boo watchers who put this man in the White House, but educated people who can hear someone lie so prodigiously as Pres. Trump and know that this man is a charlatan.

Clearly, he is decompensating at an ever-increasing rate.

I was on the road in CT for over an hour yesterday listening to a talk radio station I'd never heard before and the host was flooded with callers expressing their appreciation for Trump sticking it to the media. Can't wait for the "all polls are fake news" responses. Its very predictable, same old deflections, excuses, exaggerations that we hear from the cult. How dare you present them with statistics that undermine their position? I can ASSURE you that the Republican Representatives and Senators are watching those polls very, very closely.
