Well, I am going to disagree with you that her reaction was more inappropriate than his deranged tweet, but--overall--we are on the same page, so to speak. In any event, consider this question: What happened to Melania's "mission" as First Lady to stop cyber-bullying?
That's right... her stated mission disappeared faster than her fuzzy immigration records.

That she announced it in the midst of another one of her husband's tweet storms made it laughable from the get go.
POTUS just confirmed that the National Inquirer event did happened. He turns it around claiming Joe and Miika called him to have the story killed. So what is clear is that this was not a complete fabrication. If what Joe & Mika said was true that is out and out blackmail.
In my first post in this thread I noted how things like this can only hurt Trump and later I argued that I am amazed that those around him seem to be unable to get him to understand that.

Trump spontaneously fired off a couple of tweets; they delayed their vacation plans just so they could pen a lengthy response in WaPo and then go on PMSNBC and fire back at Trump. Exactly who is obsessed?
It's media's job to obsess over all things Federal Government. They are free to criticize, challenge, expose, condemn and applaud.
It's the job of every POTUS to ignore the noise or learn from it and remain focused on the agenda.

I don't think you have it quite right. Feeding pigeons in the part is altruistic.
Trump is more like the big motor yacht owner who is disgusted by the seagulls messing his paint job who feeds them poisoned corn.
