That's OK. One day, you too will make it in life.
Thanks for the insult, lol--usually I skim right past your posts so go right ahead and spout off with anything you want. No one is listening.

My wife is an immigrant and even though she does not agree with many things Trump has done she is still happy that Hillary did not win and she is very happy that she lives in America.

Anyways today is Independence day and I think most people are happy to live in America and will be celebrating its birthday with fun events. Trump, Hillary, Bernie, the whiny protesting babies.. pick your poison America will go on.
Then why the OP?

Has anyone heard from Cher lately? She told us she was heading to Jupiter.

I know I feel better about the future of our country since we dodged the bullet that was Hillary.

So tonight when you are watching fireworks will you be thankful that Trump won or wish that Hillary had or will you be walking like a disappointed Zombie toward the border?
I won't be thinking of Trump or Clinton.

I'll be enjoying some pulled pork -- (smoking in my Pit Barrel as I type) and just hanging out.

Cheers!

Well said. DH & I are planning our most festive 4th in years. Usually it's hot dogs and burgers on the grill, this year it's steak and even the rain can't dampen our spirits.

24 years ago, some dear friends lost their adult son to a stray bullet that struck him in the head as he was riding a city bus home from work on a Friday afternoon.
The week of his funeral they had their usual birthday blowout celebration for another son. They knew that to cancel or downplay the festivities would have handed too much power to the shooter (who was never identified).
That's how we feel about the man currently occupying the oval office. No matter how much havoc he wreaks, he's powerless to take away our choice to celebrate this or any day.

Happy 4th to everyone here!

Surely you're being sarcastic.

I'm a leftist and I definitely do NOT embrace illegal immigration. They need to go.

We simply couldn't afford the cost of immigrating--we already paid the cost to get my husband here legally from the UK. It's not cheap! Then add in the extreme cost of shipping household goods and you have to be rich to do it. We're not rich. And that's the truth, not sarcasm.

We tried to leave but it's nearly impossible to immigrate to another country. We would never break the law and become illegals either. We chose the UK first but their requirements are strict and, when you add in the financial cost of shipping your possessions across the ocean, we couldn't afford it.

This is a sad 4th for our country. It has a hollow feeling. We are flying the flag and will watch the fireworks but it's just sad to watch what is happening to the country we love.
Did you ever ask yourself why it's so difficult for a middle class white person to immigrate to England or Europe yet millions of muslims, asians and black people get there and take over whole neighborhoods while many times not even being able to speak the language.

You may want to dig into that question and find out why that is. It could lead you to understand the causes of many other problems.

So you speak for some kind of liberal progressive collective and none of you could leave?

Insincere much?

I'm proud that the people of this country stood up and told the establishment political class and the fascist left "go to hell!"

I'm proud that the people stood their ground and said "NO, we are not crowning a Queen" just because MSM and Hollywood said it will be so.

I'm proud that the Constitution is once again front and center.

I'm proud that we have a President who is actually trying his damn best to keep the promises he made.

Mostly, I'm proud to be an American no matter which party is in power.

This is the greatest country on earth and it's too bad for anyone who can't see it because your ideology blinds you to the fact.

You must be a Trumpster if you don't break immigration laws.

By the way, I would have played in the NFL but I couldn't afford the bus ticket and shipping to Dallas.

This is the best 4th celebration in years with our Great President.
