I guess I'm a conspiracy theorist because I think the Russia story is mostly bunk. I want someone to answer the following questions:
1. Why didn't the Democrats allow federal investigators to have access to their systems they claim were hacked?
2. Why did Vladimir Putin hate Hillary?
2(a). Did the FBI determine Putin hates Hillary and wanted Trump to win simply because it appears they were successful in hacking the DNC but there isn't any evidence they successfully hacked the RNC or the Trump campaign?
3. Why hasn't there been one arrest pursuant to the Russian investigation after a year of investigation?
4. Instead of insisting on Trump and the American public buy into the Russia narrative, what is the working theory as to why both Putin and Julian Assange have denied (more than once) that Russia had anything to do with the DNC hacks?
5. Which e-mails and/or other hacking attempts are we crediting for affecting Hillary's chances at winning? She raised over a billion dollars, has 100% name recognition, and there were several "non-political" attempts to tank Trump (Access Hollywood, sexual assault accusers).
6. Assuming, arguendo, that Trump did collude with Russia to hack the DNC, what are we calling the Donna Brazile and Debbie Wasserman-Schultz helping Hillary out in the primaries, coordinated attempts by the DNC to hurt Bernie's chances, and using their media connections to play up or down play certain stories? Russia is a foreign body, but...the media is supposed to be impartial. Right?
7. Why hasn't Obama been called on the carpet for not doing more when this first came to light, not just in 2014, but even last summer?
1) Regardless of if there is a hack that happened, Russians did release a TON of propaganda articles that made the democratic party more split than ever (making Bernie supporters dislike Hillary).
2) Putin didn't hate Hillary. He knows the democratic party doesn't favor him and would not be in the best interest of Russia to have a democrat in office.
2a) N/A because of my statement on #1.
3) Do you know how court cases work? It could hurt the cases against other people if they leak their evidence now. They want to gather every last bit of information so they have a concrete case against the people who will be charged. They cannot tip off any of their evidence (as they would have to give up in a court case) until they get done.
4) Putin and Assange are liars. Even if you disagree, how do you know? We don't know yet.
5) You don't think Trump has 100% name recognition even though he's a billionaire with his name in several countries on hotels and other buildings? Ah. Just like any Republican political figure, Trump was fueled with money by the other billionaires out there. I saw more anti Clinton information than anti Trump out there during the election.
6) I voted for Bernie, but the DNC wanted to do all they could to win against Trump. They had an idea that Trump would be difficult to beat, and they figured the well known politician would give them the best chance to win (instead of Bernie).
7) What??
Why is the FBI investigating this whole matter? Why is it taking so long if there's nothing to be found and there's no money trails? Why was Comey fired? Why was Sessions almost fired for recusing himself? Why isn't Trump showing his financial records to show there's no ties to Russia? Why do so many people in his campaign have STRONG ties to Russia? Why is Trump denying every little thing until the truth comes out? If it is just visits, why is he outright denying it before the truth comes out?
Christopher Steele handed over his sources to the fbi. It was in the news today. Might have want to read that before starting this thread.

Putin has clearly stated that even he is at war with liberal western values. He simply does not believe in our system(s) - that being what started in ancient Greece and blossomed in France, the UK and the USA.
So I guess the basic question would be "whose side are you on?". From your little joking I would say Putins.

Same as the earliest: No evidence, no sign of any crime, no reason to have any investigation at all.
If Democrats were demanding an investigation of Donald Trump robbing a bank, the situation would be the same. Because he never did that either. And there's no evidence, no sign of any crime, no reason to have any investigation at all.
But the Democrats are still screaming for an investigation.... of something. ANYTHING.
Actually Mueller is carrying on, as are the two congressional committees without any screaming from the Dems.

It's foolish to think most Trumpies will have an accurate view of the historic nature (in a bad way) of this POTUS. They have been programmed - from birth, violence, hate, media or even experience - to be "right wing authoritarians"....
Look at any history. Chinese still praised Mao even as he starved and killed them. Same with Stalin and other authoritarians.
Trumpians - that is, the 35% of this country who still support him - would support him even if he was convicted of 100 crimes. That's because, at heart, they are criminals and would shred the Constitution in a moment if he asked them to.
One of the old Nazi expressions was "The end is worth the means" - and that describes one major reason why Trumpies will throw out history and reason and March to His Beat even if he was declared legally insane or let nukes fly.
Parallel narrative you mean. No ones fault but Trumps that he keeps tripping over his tongue.
