Apart from the fact that he has a rather mafiosish look to him:
1. Trump, who promised he'd "drain the swamp" is hiring another person from the Goldman Sachs swamp.
2. Trump, already notorious for poor choices, picks a guy to be Communications Director whose expertise is in finance, not communications.
3. Trump picks someone whose nickname is "Mooch." We all know what that means, right? Moocher: A person who lives off others without giving anything in return. Like, you know, a parasite.
He is getting rid of experienced insiders and is hiring friends and family as a way of controlling the ****show he has created by colluding with the Russians. Mooch is one of many such appointments in the pipeline. Now more than ever Trump needs asskissers who will not question him ever.
He had to get someone who had some confidence. Spicer was reduced to hiding in the bushes and that's not good.
Huckabee-Sanders, admittedly looking more professional these days now that's she's ditched the white sweater buttoned over her boobs (where was Ivanka?), but still has a ways to go before she stops reminding everyone of an annoying cousin.
He is exactly what trump wants to surround himself with. A disgustingly obsequious boot-licker. Suddenly all his views on gun control, a border wall, and abortion rights now reflect trump's purported views.
Rumor is that he's being set up to take over Reince's job. Reince had been able to block his appointment on everything up until now.
He had to get someone who had some confidence. Spicer was reduced to hiding in the bushes and that's not good.
I'll agree with that.
But surely it would have been better to have someone with confidence AND experience in the field. Maybe he should have tapped someone from a Bush administration? But the problem is that he probably wants someone who will parrot any lie.
He only hires those who are Rich remember. He is a shoe in with those credentials!
