again you make many big claims without one iota of fact lumped in. perfect Trumpster...
Fact 1 - 3 pages and only 2 anti-Trumpers in this thread. (But both of you guys know your stuff, so good for you)
Fact 2 - Obama took the national debt from 9 Trillion to 19 Trillion dollars (& we have nothing to show for it).
Fact 3 - At this point, Trump is the enemy of my enemy. But if he screws the pooch economically (or screws us over in favor of his Wall Street buddies at Goldman Sachs). I'll support the next Economic Conservative/Populist & not him.
Fact 4 - I wish 60-70% of all politicians were accountants.
Just like all the fake news experts predicted a Clinton victory? Like I said, if this proposal guarantees a democratic controlled House, then you should be all for it. Right?
thanks again for pointing out to people you're one of the one's that don't get math.....appreciate it! BTW- Try to have one argument without bringing up Clinton or Obama.
It was nice that they took breaks from playing video games to chat, though.
and what are you upto? digging coal? Sending more of your paycheck to the Koch brothers so they can eliminate clean drinking water for people? I suppose you can run board meetings and post GOP talking points all day long?
If this passes you won't be able to itemize/deduct your REAL ESTATE TAXES for your home.
The reason it's higher in NY, NJ, CA is because their real estate values are higher than other areas so they are taxed higher.
I doubt such a bill passes because it impacts wealthy people that 1) have expensive homes (thus high real estate taxes) and 2) because wealthy people earn more income thus pay higher state income taxes (in states with an income tax).
The GOP won't disallow the wealthy from getting their tax breaks.
Here's a quote from the article in the OP. This is why the GOP won't pass this:
"...heavily weighted to families with high incomes. Seventy-five percent of the benefits went to families making more than $100,000."
Holy smokes....Real Estate Taxes and Income Taxes. This is big. Anything else on the Itemization "hit list"?
If they remove mortgage interest as well, there will be people jumping off of buildings in NY and SF.

It's a combination of real estate values and property tax rates. Red States won't feel the impact if the federal income tax rates go down.
Pete King is my congressman and while I disprove of his endless kissing up to Trump, I've voted for him 6 times and I am confident he will protect Long Islanders. If there's anything he does better than brownnosing Trump it's standing up for Long Island.
New Yorkers are already fed up with having to subsidize and prop up solid red states. We deserve a break.

so do you hate the job creators there too? Or the middle class people there too? Does geographic location supersede all? Just trying to make sure the checklist sup to date here....
