But here's the thing. Isn't this turning out to be more of a Watergate. The President and his gang may not have been really aggressively trying to collude with the Russians but they have been very aggressive in lying or misrepresenting their contact.

That's the thing for me. I never believed that there was a collusion issue but I now trust this administration less. They have purposely left out and lied about meetings, contacts, etc.
What we know thus far is that that their stories keep changing. In six months we've gone from no communication to evidence of collusion and collusion is not a crime.

Trump's sacrificing his knights. Looks like Mr. 3-D Chess is down to his final moves.

Trump is deranged for attacking his attorney general on twitter.

Trump is on video, after the election, saying he didn't want to go after Hillary.

He really doesn't want Sessions to investigate Hillary. He just wants to attack Sessions relentlessly, in public. Trump knows that Russiagate will sink him and he's wanting to stop the Russiagate investigation asap. Getting rid if Sessions is the first step needed before he can get someone else to fire Mueller.

Talking Trump trashing sessions on twitter again

So entertaining!

tRump is a tiger in tweets but a coward in person.

Go ahead, Donny-boy. Fire Sessions. He's a lousy AG and a snotty little creep who needs to crawl back under his rock. No one will ever miss him. Like you, he's a disgrace to the office.

And then appoint some jerk who's even worse and try to get him to dispose of Mueller's investigation.

Then, we can all enjoy the fallout as you and your family of squirming weasels get flushed from the White House.

This just keeps getting better.

Trump will never be happy unless he finds total boot lickers, just like Putin.

Disadvantage, Hillary.

Firing Mueller would eventually bring his administration down. Surely, he and Bannon are aware of this.

At the very least, Mueller's team would start working under the auspices of one of the Congressional committees if not Congress itself.

When you have to trash a KKK "law and order" guy like Sessions it shows how far into authoritarianism this admin has gone. I guess Rudy, who is a despicable human being (even his kids hate him) will be the Chief of Law Enforcement soon.

You couldn't make this stuff up. The only good thing about any of it is that it might make a good book or movie if the USA survives it. I think we are going backwards about 2 decades each year so we very well may not.

It's clear that rump is very willing to sacrifice something he doesn't value (the presidency) in order to preserve something that's much more important to him (his family's fortune). So, he's acting accordingly.

He finagles a way to get rid of Muller and his term in the WH collapses in ruins. But his illegal Russian finances remain hidden and he remains unindicted. He sees that as a good trade-off, because presidentin' is no fun for him.

No fun at all.
