They weren't really fans to begin with if they walk away. Lots of Cowboys fans in the stadium last night - - I'm guessing a good number of them are Republicans. Seemed to be having a good time.

^^

I don't care what their views are.

Football > the players views. They're still free to have their views. That's why we live in the United States.

Why? Because fans believe politics and protest have no place on the playing field?
How about the fans right to free speech?
Professional athletes do not get paid to voice/show their politics/opinions while on the clock in uniform.

Less fans mean I will have an easier time getting a seat at the sports bar to watch my team. Next problem.

Uh, oh; seems this guy disagrees with your viewpoint about their compensation package serving to limiting/preventing their civil liberties:

It's not the players attacking fans free speech, it's "fans" attacking players rights to free speech.

Football and Americans go way back before Trump came along to make trouble and divide us. The love affair will be there when he is gone.

If someone that "really wasn't a fan" stops watching that's still someone that stopped watching.

Sure you can, unless the boss says otherwise. Are you these players' bosses?

Don't like it, don't watch and don't support the sport.

Problem solved.

Isn't free market capitalism great??
