I imagine it's a very big deal to the black people who live in that town, and expect that man to do his job and protect ALL residents equally.

If it doesn't matter to YOU, why are you commenting on it at all?

Sorry, but he has never once been the voice of the majority of Americans which is why his approval ratings are still in the toilet.
He was certainly the voice of America on November 8th 2016 when he was elected POTUS.
He's the voice for the part of America that thinks that ordinary people "just don't understand" when they want the flag honored or their money not wasted on Climate Adjustment Funds.

Trump is walking a fine line here...as the President, he needs to watch how he frames his points and the discussion. We do have a 1st Amendment, and it is nearly impossible to separate Trump the citizen from Trump the President (Government).

I think he's going about it the entirely wrong way...but hey, what do I know.

Everyone knows that NFL teams didn't leave the locker room for the Anthem until ±2009... right?

My quote was to the poster on why it mattered to him. What part of my simple statement confused you? You're not very good at this.

That's just something you made up because you are unable to address the point I made. Maybe you'll finally stop playing your childish "gotcha" games and look for the truth.

What he said was repulsive. That's not the point I made. It's about what little influence he has, especially over you.

The "blah people", in case people don't know, is a reference to a former Senator from Pennsylvania who backtracked and said he said "blah people", not what he really said, which was "black people" when he was feeding racist red meat to the base during his run for President.

I didn't know, but even today, they typically do not show the anthem on TV, and at the stadium, people watch the singer in big screen TV, or the flag, not what the players are doing.
