- Do you see any reason why The Washington Post's payout info can't be subpoena
which may tell whose providing the illegal leaks?

If that happens, the names will be quite suprising.

Journalists supposedly never reveal their sources but this current crop are a bunch of babies so I bet they would blab if threatened or bribed.

I'm sorry that you Trump supporters hate the leaks. Too bad, so sad. The American people deserve to know the truth about what the sleazeball Trump and his minions are up to. I am grateful the leakers have the courage to do what is right and are able to put country before party/politics.

Notice how Trumpers are more concerned with the leaks than the information that is actually being leaked? "Willful Ignorance."

Willful ignorance - The practice or act of intentional and blatant avoidance, disregard or disagreement with facts, because they oppose or contradict your own existing personal beliefs.

The Hillary emails were 'leaked/stolen'... repubs had no problem with that.

I do not think the leaks are from specific white house employees like Reibus and the Mooch.
What I've seen happen is someone in the know tells their wife, friends etc and THEY pass the info along.
Its hard to keep a secret.

To what specific illegal leaks are you referring?

A subpoena can only be issued in the process of a court action or criminal investigation.

While there may be cases where we are talking national security and someone might make a case there, in general it is not illegal for government employee's to speak to the press.

I'm surprised they can't shut it down. There are so many? It was obvious early on in this administration that information was getting out. Some here implied it was Obama staff still in jobs. BUT I don't know -- think about it -- six months in and STILL they haven't been able to shut it down. Some of this stuff seemingly is from closed meetings with everyone in attendance accounted for.

I have to say -- it is disturbing to me. And once again I'm reminded of the incompetence of this administration.
