Suicide: A weasel's way out of life? (employment, legal, health care)

Seems to be on the rise everywhere. Famous people have been doing it, and then silly people tweet things like "everyone has a right to take away their own life, because they never had the choice to enter it."

I think it's despicable. Particularly when there's a family involved, and especially with children. Animals don't even kill themselves out of depression.

And now the loons want to legalize medical suicide because the process of dying is too much for them. Weak.

No.

Tell me where the line ends.

Eventually, if someone can't find a date or pass and exam, that will be grounds for "ending their suffering."

Dogs, don't have commitment and responsibility, to the extent a human being does.

Fair enough.

But I think people should be allowed to be cowards.

After all, would you rather have suicidal people draining your tax dollars with their mental health care needs? Or be an eyesore in your community if they're homeless/ailing in public?

I find the thread title offensive, I have lost loved ones to suicide, & I do not call them weasels, They are still loved ones.

So your argument is that "the process of dying" is preferable to suicide.

I had two friends die of suicide. In both cases they blew their brains out. One was over a relationship and employment threat. The other was over cancer. Its horrible. Nothing funny about suicide. I hear people say its weak. I have a sister that has severe depression. I am sorry but there is no easy answer as to why someone would take their own life!
