I disagree. What we are dealing with is several decades of liberal/progressive entrenchment in government, the media, and education. It is ruing our country. Trump won because people are sick of it!
I disagree with that right back.
There are a wide range of political ideologies in the government, many of which have been there for decades. If what you were saying was true and it was motivated by pure left wing partisanship, you would have seen similar levels of leaks and resistance during former Republican administrations, but we didn't. Especially if it was "several decades of entrenchment" as you say.
What we also didn't see in former Republican administrations is this level of administrative incompetence.
He only hires the best people right? So, if that is true and he is also a good leader, why the astounding level of turn over for his direct appointees? Sorry - that speaks to pure incompetence.
Anyone who has worked a job where they had a new boss come in that was incompetent and loudmouthed about it, while at the same time throwing underlings under the bus as was convenient, would see the exact same laughably dubbed "Deep State" effect at play on a smaller scale. It is just a manifestation of human nature.

Yes. This is exactly what's going on. It's ridiculous to believe it's some kind of sinister plot by a shadow organization. It's not.
He just sucks at this job.

It is. Straight out of some James Bond type film, I think.
But Administrative State is real, and has been for a very long time. Bureaucracies like the IRS, EPA and even DOJ are filled with people who have come up through the ranks into leadership positions. They have taken it upon themselves to promote their own personal point of view by skewing the rules their organization makes and enforces.
None of these people are elected. Lois Lerner is a good example. She actually believed that she should prevent conservative organizations from being licensed, and instructed her people to act likewise.
These bureaucracies are so pervasive in our daily life that we never question their power:

Less noticed, however, were four opinions authored by Justice Clarence Thomas that call into question the constitutionality of the massive and largely unaccountable bureaucracy that we commonly refer to as the administrative state. In bold and clear prose, Justice Thomas explained how the basic principles of our Constitution's separation of powers are incompatible with the system of bureaucratic rule that took root in the Progressive era and now reaches into virtually every realm of American life.

There we go, this I believe to be accurate, and I also believe it to be an inevitability of any sufficiently large organization of people.

And we know Trump has been caught making up inane phone calls he allegedly received.
Now he is tweeting some BS he heard from FOX 'anonymous sources' about North Korea troop movements.
How dumb is this guy?
