Can white people not be proud of who they are and express it like everyone else does, without getting virtue signaled?

I'm "white" and proud of it. ALL people need to be proud of who they are, regardless of "race". OTOH: if talking nazis, Islamists, la raza and so on; their kind need to watch their manners. Period.
Nothing wrong with being a white guy, as I am, but what happened in Charlottesville (assuming based on the NAZI reference) was both expressly done as a NAZI and disgraceful.
White males, and generally everybody, in America won the birthing lottery no doubt about it. We could be rural subsistence farmers in Africa or women sold into the sex trade in Thailand.
If someone wants to hang around with their own kind,I see no prob with that. The problem starts when violence (a.k.a. laws) is used to force associations.

I am white but I consider myself a person first- and don't go with a white flag up in the air to tell someone I am white and represent something DIFFERENT
I am proud of who I am, not what I am. My whiteness is not the source my pride. My political beliefs are not a source of pride either. My pride is derived from faithfully waking up every morning, working 8-12 hours a day doing what I love, and encouraging others to work hard to fulfill their dreams and contribute. I lead by example, and that is how respect and admiration is earned. No one can take that away from me.
