The white supremacists have a right to speak, but they do not have a right to presidential endorsement through false equivalency of comparing them to people who are shouting down nazis. Trump afforded them that equivalency, and when you put it in context to his entire campaign of winking and nodding to ethnonationalists, and demonizing others Americans, makes him the most Un-American president in modern times.
Is that you Joe, or Rachel?

Nope don't agree. Good people need to stand up in the face of evil, they have an obligation NOT to remain silent.

Absolutely. We have a moral obligation to stand up to hate and racism against all people.. Our president does too, unfortunately he failed in that respect from the moment he started his campaign.

Well, last time I checked Presidents' job did not list "be presidential" in the description.

I thought so. I've seen the ones you base your opinion on, and also the ones you have dismissed. I just wondered if you'd acknowledge the others.

The Nazis presence is what caused violence...they are those ones who have blood on their hands here. They should all be jailed.
You think our Constitution determines someone's first amendment rights based on opinion of whether they are 'good' or 'evil'?

Anyone who thinks that is the one trying to flip America upside down. It's not Trump.

You know you've hit rock bottom when you are defending Nazis and racists. Yes we have an obligation to call out and protest evil. That is also part of the first ammendment. The fact that Trump failed in this respect is just really pathetic.

He's not supporting them. He certainly should condemn them more than he has but it's a lie to say he is supporting them.

This editorial cartoon summed up Trump pretty well.

In it, there is a car with a white male driver. The car has Nazi and Confederate bumper stickers, a license plate that reads HATE, and a noose hanging from the rear view mirror. It has just run over several people with their bodies still under the car. An overweight white man wearing a MAGA baseball cap and holding a golf club is at the driver's side window asking if he, the unharmed driver, is ok while the people that were run over go unattended.

You can stand up to them all you want, in fact you're playing right into their hands. They want and need to be confronted, it legitimizes them, at least in their puny little minds it does.
