I've heard a few experts say that Trump supporters are so rabid and so blind to the damage that Trump is wreaking, that they will continue to support him until it finally hits home that he's not going to magically cure the economy and bring back long-gone jobs.
But it just occurred to me ... if Trump get us into some quasi-war military involvement, whether in Korea, Afghanistan, or wherever, first Americans will be very gung-go, because Americans like war (especially when the war is being fought in someone else's country, not ours). But after that, when it will be mostly the low-end supporters doing the fighting, and they start dying - maybe then the tables will turn.
It's a question worth asking. I see a lot of Trump supporters on here who say that Obama got us into senseless wars, and that Hillary would have been worse.
How will they feel if Trump turns out to be more hawkish than they expected?
haha, "experts say" has been a pet peeve of mine for a long time. If you read the MSM, you see the phrase used on a regular basis. I guess it's defensible in technical subjects such as accounting or aircraft design, but when used regarding such amorphous topics as foreign policy, it's journalistic malpractice. I just googled 'experts say.' Lo & behold, 2 of the first to come up were from the NYT and WA Compost:

Prepare to hear 'He's a STRONG leader doing what's necessary!'
Rumor is he will deploy more American troops to Afghanistan, I can hardly wait to hear just what he thinks that will accomplish that hasn't been done in 16 yeas.

First, the economy is doing great, the markets are setting records, unemployment is down. Second, we're already in Afghanistan. North Korea backed down so I don't know what you're whining about. Talk about rabid and blind.
