The ability for residents to express wide spread criticism of anything and everything is one of the main principles of the US Constitution. Please help me understand what you are proposing here, are you saying that the government should take action to make sure that if you wear a MAGA hat in public nobody has the right to criticize you for it?

Guess common sense isn't common and plenty people lack basic home training.
And you are free to feel this way. You are even free to express your displeasure with my saying it. But I'm still free to speak.

Didn't I say you can't wear MAGA or go to a rally without "facing violence"? How dishonest can an argument get claiming they just face criticism?

You can't even criticize any number of people in public without facing prosecution, unless they are white American or conservative. So he government is already doing what you claim it shouldn't be.

Did you forget about the part where you mentioned that not being able to wear a MAGA gear without wide spread criticism is oppression? I quoted your post again to refresh your memory.

"You don't speak for all white people or get to define oppression. Not being able to wear MAGA or hold a rally without facing violence and wide-spread criticism is just one example of oppression."

Who is the one being dishonest here?

Its contradictory and biased.
Well, first of all, these types of events aren't exactly new for Charlottesville. White supremacists have even harassed and attacked UVA students before.

The only things that I do know in this situation is that some people came with guns and on their side, someone killed someone and injured many others with a vehicle. So some came to protest and others came to injure and/or kill.

Nothing silly about it. They were warned but ignored the warning. Sometimes it is best to exercise common sense and heed advice. No surprise these girls received some backlash. Outside of that, the person who committed battery was wrong. We are talking about high school and college students here...sometimes not the most thoughtful bunch.

Also thank you for the comment about you having no team, it was interesting. So out of curiosity, when was the last time you voted Republican in a major election?
It is a deflect because most of that post never dealt with the matter at hand.

I cannot and will not vote for the Republican party because of their inability to separate church and state and desire to legislate based on religion. As a non-mainstream Christian, their perspective is extremely problematic.

I currently live in US territory so I cannot vote in major elections. It has been almost 10 years since I've voted in a major elections. If I do, I will vote Libertarian.

Leave them alone! If they want to look dumb, on that campus, with them hats! As long as they're not bothering or making physical threats to anyone....!

It's a bait! The minute someone 'engages' with them about he hat, stereotypes of "angry, black, socialist, *******s," etc come from the other side, giving them ammunition! Don't fall for the bait......!

Agreed...but young people don't think and a few reacted poorly.
