Emergency and Evacuation are municipal decisions- not the media.

How exactly would 6.9 million people evacuate? Where would they go? For how long? Then what?

I'm as critical of the fake news media as anyone, but everyone knew what was coming. You know, like the rest of the country, we have local stations that give us local news and weather.

My wife's hometown is 10 miles from ground zero, and everybody was making plans at least two or three days ahead of time. This wasn't Galveston 1900.

The "news" has done nothing but pump out fake anti-trump stories since he announced he was running. Why is this one any different?

Many, many thanks to all the States that are sending experts and helicopters to aid in rescues. For those who don't know - Texas developed a multi state operation to aid in disasters, they do multi-state drills several times a year ..... added to that - Power companies from many States are early responders to help any State that needs it. The United States of America - it still exists for most of us.
Oh can it about people politicizing this. You've been doing nothing but.

Anyway, hope everyone in our CD universe stays safe. Look after yourselves everyone.

One of the biggest problems with our government is that they don't understand the plight of the poor. When we examine disasters of the past this lack of understanding is responsible for many of the lives lost.
The federal or state or Houston Metro should have enough buses to transports 6.9 million people out of harm's way? Where exactly would 6.9 million people go? For how long? Then what?

A 100 year storm sitting in place dumping feet of rain, that's the problem. Remember you can't fool mother nature. She will always find the weak area.
What's your plan to evacuate 6.9 million people ?

Where would they go? For how long? Then what?

Nice try. The "Fake News" CNN was on the air talking about how Trump was "Hijacking" the News on the Hurricane, instead of talking about what people should do, while they, themselves where not reporting on the Storm but hijacking the Station to bash Trump. Your precious.

If the Democrat sore losers would decide to help Trump, instead of destroy him, there would be a lot more positions filled in his cabinet. Of course you forgot that part, right? You have to love these Liberal Snowflakes.

Fortunately for the black, liberal, Houston mayor, there's a Republican president in office and the media will shift all blame for Mayor Turner's horrible decision to Trump.

You didn't think that the OP would pass on the opportunity to spin a national tragedy, into a means to put blame on political opponents?
