Since Charlottesville according to CBS News.

"`What's really pushing sales [now] is removal of the monuments," Kennedy told CBS MoneyWatch. "The general feeling I get from customers that call and email is that they are just pushing back at people who are trying to revise our history. I think as long as that's in the news" demand will continue.

Not sure how true this is. CBS didn't release any numbers or other hard stats on sales. Maybe sells are up though. Who knows?

Not surprising, people will always fight back against oppression they feel.

If cockleburs were banned they'd start showing up in gardens all over the place.

The civil war and slavery is nothing but history to me (my ancestors were all in Europe at that time). My feeling is that that was then, what was right then we've corrected and made it wrong now, and we no longer believe in slavery or any one race being "supreme" over another. That being said, I personally see the Confederate flag as no longer being a relic from the past but instead being a new symbol of political correctness gone mad. I think I'll buy one for that reason alone.

While it may be kind of silly to fly one in Montana, I might do the same, just to rattle the chains of the haters.
No one is as intolerant as those who preach tolerance the loudest, and no one hates as well as those who preach against hate!
IMO, it is fun to shake them up.

Because nothing says let's try to work together than becoming more divided. MAGA!!!!!!

That's why we need a President who is truly interested in uniting us.

Problem -- I believe it works better for Trump to have this division.

That is asking for trouble or at least a little vandalism.

I won't be buying one myself.

https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_n...nera+lee+model -- lots of models of the General Lee available, to my surprise.

Indeed. Relevant op-ed from Slate: In Praise of Intolerance

Can you point to specific efforts to "work together" that people on the perceived other ideological side have made in the past few weeks?
