I have a response to a trashy article from The New York Times, if any one is interested...
That trashy article is titled: WE'RE JOURNALISTS, MR. TRUMP, NOT THE ENEMY
My Opinion: MAINSTREAM MEDIA, YOU ARE THE ENEMY
It’s funny, these same so-called journalists never held Obama or Clinton accountable. They allowed both to get away with a lot. Clinton’s attacks on investigator Ken Starr, his escapades in the Whitehouse. Obama’s attack on conservative tea party groups with the IRS, Obama lying to sell his horrible Iran deal, Obama’s attempts to influence elections in other nations, Obama’s kowtowing to Russia, etc. Obama let Russia get away with a lot, in case you forgot, or in case the New York Times and other crap mainstream media refused to remind you. They think we worship Trump, but they treat Obama like Jesus; If you couldn’t see through their biased you’d swear Obama never did any wrong. LOL.
Obama was literally one of the most arrogant presidents ever. He never cared for dissenting views. Anyone who disagreed with him got fired. Any media that criticized him got banned from his press briefings. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg with him.
How about Bill and Hillary and their rampages in the Whitehouse? Secret Service has gone public about how nasty both were, particularly Hillary. If it were Trump, even the slightest bit of conflict would be conflated and characterized as “Trump angry, impulsive and mentally unstable says aide.”
So they’re holding Trump accountable to what, and with what? A dossier that’s been proven to be FAKE since Trump’s associate had NEVER been to Prague a day in his life? Ad they're still using this false document as the basis for this crock of an investigation. Oh, the Bezos Post has tallied over a thousand lies that Trump has told. These people just love to parse words. He does make very broad statements at times, but we know what he means. And we look at his actions. We’re satisfied. Give me that list and I could pick it apart, just like they like to pick every little thing he says apart.
Media (New York Times, Washington Post, CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC, Axios, Salon, Vox, BuzzFeed, Slate, Bloomberg, Huffington Post, Politico, LA Times, USA Today, BBC, Canadian Broadcasting, Sky News, Wall Street Journal, the other 90+ percent of rags that endorsed Hillary,even Fox News now since Roger Ailes is gone) you are the enemy of many americans. And it’s your own fault. You talk about how much Trump lies but forgot how much you lie, how much information you omit, how many articles you quietly retract (quietly so that you don’t have to issue any apology), how much you conflate (like trying to tie all of us who support Trump to the KKK), how much you exaggerate, how biased you are (you criticize right-wing media, but anyone with a brain knows you’re left-wing despite how you LIE to portray yourselves as “unbiased” and “objective”).
Most of you went to the same schools. Most of you live in the same neighborhoods, go to the same restaurants and the same bars, they probably even sleep with each other and cheat on each other. Most of you never get out of these enclaves since you’re effectively overpaid snobs, you parrot each others’ narrative, and all of you are so out of touch with so much of the nation that YOU actually have CONTEMPT for. Oh, but who’s the bigot now? Oh wait, it’s only bigotry if the victim is non-white.
There are so many stories that you refuse to report because they go against the narratives that you want. That’s why you ignore them. That’s why you try to smear any outlet that does report them as fake news, or right-wing kooks, or conspiracy theorists. You despise conservative talk radio because it is so successful while “progressive” shows usually flop. Don’t be mad, that’s how the free market works; Your lousy product flops because people don‘t want it. You wish you had laws that would force competition out of existence and allow for you to have a monopoly on what information gets out, just like the propagandists of many dictators before.
What about conservative, pro-Trump outlets? Will you tell the public how you don’t even want them to have a seat at the table, or in the press room in this case? What about those journalists who you smear for reporting the things you refuse to report? Your lack of self awareness is stunning. You fail to see how hypocritical and arrogant you all are. I have a favorite radio show, and this person broadcasted from Trump’s Whitehouse one day. She heard a slick remark by one of you democrat hacks, “Oh I guess it’s right-wing media day.” She wanted to turn around and respond, “Oh as opposed to 364 left-wing media days?” What about those journalists, you democrat frauds?
Mainstream media, you are the enemy of millions of americans. And it’s your own fault. You’ve been this way for decades. You’ve brought this scrutiny on yourselves. Will you hold yourself accountable when you’re proven wrong? Probably not. Will you ever admit how you refuse to simply report fairly, since most of what you publish is always packaged with your opinions (and honestly, anyone who can’t make that distinction is delusional or gullible).
New York Times, you reported erroneously about what’s really happening in Syria. You reported that many Syrians didn’t support Assad in the least. He is a dictator. But you failed to report that he protected many Syrians from the rebels who you and Obama and McCain, etc, were canonizing, when these very rebels were literally partnered with ISIS. Will you hold yourself accountable for that? Where’s the apology? Where’s the retraction? Quite arrogant of you to not issue either. But then again, this a rag newspaper that denied the Holocaust as it was happening, and it denied the Ukrainian genocide as it was happening. It may have even sided with Mao Zedong in his slaughter of 60 Million people to take over China. You don’t deserve to be respected or revered. You tarnish your own “legacy” everyday, and you’ve been doing it for decades.
You say you’re holding Trump accountable, huh? You might have fooled people if it hadn’t been on the heels of eight years of kissing Obama’s rear-end. You’d actually be more effective if you really were fair to Trump, and the half of the nation that support him, but we see through your bias, your lies, your agenda, your biased polling data, your smears, your vitriol, etc. So your so-called journalism has sort of been discredited even long before Trump came along, again YOUR OWN FAULT. But thanks for being so vehemently, blatantly biased and help more people see how full of crap you are. Your years-long attempts to make people hate Trump have backfired far more than a lot of you want to accept. And that’s fine, because it’s at your own peril. You’ll be shocked again by his re-election.
EDIT: Freedom of the press is important. And private business can do as they please. But this was motivated by a few things. I see many pro-Trump and/or conservative outlets censored, demonetized, even terminated. I don’t see this happening to any left-wing outlets, by government means or otherwise. If there are some, show me. Otherwise, the only attack on free media I see are democrats, rino-republicans, and mainstream media attacking ad trying to silence outlets that are favorable to Trump.

The MSM didn't become dangerous until Trump took office, and they were labeled fake only by him and his crazy followers. Just pull one omission on their part and generalize calling everything fake news, that is the formula. Trump will be gone in 3 years and the NY Times will still be here doing fine as always.
I do agree that there reporting on Syria came up short, but I don't through out the tremendous reporting by the paper.

As I pointed out, Obama did that. And Hillary would have too. There was this attempt to crack down on conservative talk radio, saying that it didn't give equal time to both sides. That's because of the free market. Media Matters attacks conservative outlets and tries to have them silenced.
Mainstream media don't cover fairly. They don't have to. But don't be upset that half the nation sees them as the biased hacks that they are. They take offense that WE dislike them, and the Trump voices this discontent in a way that they can't ignore (as they are notorious for ignoring many of us). So they ask for it.
IMO The free press should say whatever it pleases its up to you to use your critical thinking skills to disseminate fact from fiction. Eg Alex Jones and Infowars is mostly made up fiction.

I agree. Similarly, media has giving this fictitious narrative about Russian collusion. They've tried hard to make it stick, but it hasn't because there's scant actual evidence. Furthermore, opposition research of the sort is not a crime; there's no law on the books. They've tried to convince people that an election was stolen by russians, but no state secretary of state says their machines were hacked, most machines aren't even connected to internet, and many ballots are still done on paper. A lot of fictitious media have neglected to mention any of this...
What is sad is congress in their bitterness for this guy would try to impeach him based on a false allegation, or try to ensnare his loved ones in a perjury trap...
