Thanks for illustrating my point. You walked right into that one.

Don't single out Trump, he just took office and is dealing with a maniacal NK leader, the likes we haven't seen before. Do you think you could do a better job?

NK crossed Japans airspace, so now it's up to Japan to make or not make a response to it. And the UN did not call a emergency session in relation to it.

the difference is all of tRump's silly rhetoric about how tough he is and how he's the only one with all the answers and how 'easy' it's going to be to solve.

HE walked right into the scorn he's receiving now, and it's well deserved.

So...the left was mad when trump said he'd put the screws to North Korea.

And now the left is mad that he hasn't nuked them in his first 7 months.

Ok, got it.

We would be the big loser in such an action and they know it, so that would do more harm than good. Any other ideas?

Really? Did you get that from some right-wing "source" or just the voices in your head?

well, I guess you've got SOMETHING but it's inedible. I'd throw that back into the water and try for something worth eating.

Trump claimed he could do the job, time to put up or shut up.

Imagine China and South Korea beset by millions of desperate refugees. Would China sit still for a unified, American-allied Korea on its border? Having broken North Korea, the U.S. would own it for many, many years to come. Which would not be easy, or pretty.

China wants the status quo. Let them figure out what to do.
