Passing tax cuts now means creating more jobs, increasing wages, expanding the economy and letting Washington take less out of your wallet.

Sign the petition and it will be forwarded to your member of Congress.

While I'm not opposed to tax cuts for the middle class, it's inherently dishonest to suggest that those things equate to job growth and higher wages. Those are largely left up to market forces, particularly when a party that [mostly] supports economic liberalism is the majority and more willing to give out tax cuts, which means that only demand will increase any of these.

Tax cuts for everyone, and correspondingly less govt. And what does it matter if jobs are created, letting people keep their own earnings is the morally correct thing to

You do know that that trumps tax reform does not actually include what you are petitioning for, don't you?

I agree. We need tax reform. Tax cuts alone would be a failure.

The petition will give the congress the easy way out and they will settle for tax cuts, not the more beneficial long lasting reforms desired. The clowns will go before the cameras and say, see we did what was ask of us. The people called for tax cuts not reform. See we delivered and the next democrat elected will raise taxes and undo the gains. Tax reform would not be so easy to roll back.

Any petition calling for tax cuts and ignoring tax reform should be rejected. IMO.

In that we agree. We need a balanced Budget and we need tax reform in the sense of a Flat/Consumption/Fair Tax system, pick one and make it work, any and all would be better then the nonsense we call a tax system today.

The Congress will have to hash out the details but it never hurts to let them know what we want and that we are paying attention.

Like a lot of posters on here, they are working on the correct spelling and trying to change the definition of words. They will probably title it something to the effect of : How we intend to pay extra for cuts.
