Gas has been stuck at $2.49 for quite a while now. One station dropped it 2 cents. I thought they would have things up and running by now, so they can drop my gas to below 2 bucks a gallon.

Two factors: we live in the most advanced country in the world with the most advanced transportation system and there is anti-gouging law in effect.

Many stations did run out of gas and couldn't get re supplied for a few days.
