Also the thread is about the supposed evils of gouging, not charitable giving or voluntary aid ( which are of course admirable)
If you're going to allege that huge profits are needed as incentive in order to have effective disaster response, I am going to introduce charitable giving or voluntary aid as proof that you can have effective disaster response without financial incentive.

Not wasting a minute on that, we are talking about emergency response to disasters. Focus.

Lots of people risked their lives to rescue victims for no incentive at all.

Why can't we have both?

Charity does help people, but not in a meaningful way. Look at Africa, how much charity have we poured into it?

Capitalism has lifted more people from poverty than everything else combined.

While jacking up prices puts the customers into poverty by bleeding them dry

No business except for the government operates in that way.

If a price is too high except for the rich to afford, the price will come down, particularly when the profit is also high. If the price is high and margin is low, the price will remain high regardless.

Not in a meaningful way? Now you're just embarrassing yourself.

I am not afraid of truth.

Charity is great and it does help some people.

Charity has never helped a society as a whole. Charity by no means is sustainable, and no amount of charity can lift a country or a large group of people out of poverty.
