Now then you mention it, if (and it's a big "if") Danny Zucker had criticized what Salman Rhusdie criticized; would he hide like Salman Rhusdie even if he apologized?
But I doubt many Christians care what this bigot thinks. Zucker is just exposing his ignorance and Trump Hate. Unfortunately, he is too immature to control his hate and emotions.
Why would I care who hates Christians? Was the guy calling for them to be gassed like the Marchers in C-Ville? Then I would object.
Given that weekly services attendance in the US is down to a history low (1/3 or so), it appears most Americans agree with the basic premise....although may be more polite in expression.
Christians deserve the criticism. They are still supporting a scumbag like Trump even after he offered his support to Neo Nazis, the KKK and white supremacists. They are applauding Trump's decision to punish innocent children that have done no harm merely because they have the wrong skin color and ethnic background to be acceptable to Trump's base of white nationalists.
Christians are showing more allegiance to Trump and the white nationalist GOP than their own Messiah and the words from the Bible. The evangelical support for Trump has shown Christians and Christianity to be a hypocritical farce.
