You mean if he's going to match Obama's 5.7 percent of his income? That's what he averaged during his years as President.

Oh well, at least that's more than Reagan's 4 percent or Biden's average of less than $400 a year for decades. Considerably less than the Clintons or the GW Bushes (at about 25 and 30 percent each, in that order).

You will have to wait for his tax returns to prove he sent it from his own accounts. Until then you will have to see campaign reports and Foundation reports.

He likes to use other peoples money as he said during the campaign.

I'm sure that the media will keep us well informed since they take such interest in every single move he and Melania make.

You know, I had to really dig to find Obama's record of giving - or rather, not giving with any enthusiasm or great generosity (5.7 percent). I'm sure I won't have to dig nearly as deep to get the goods on Trump.

You got that right.

A few nice words and a couple of bucks thrown at a catastrophe might buy some people's affection, but I utterly despise the dude and none of that changes his dreadful incompetence in governing the nation.

A "couple of bucks"? If he gave nothing, he would be vilified by haters like you. If he gave more, it would never be enough in your eyes. Face it, not matter what he does or doesn't do, you have been made blind by your hate and no factual event will penetrate that blindness. Very sad.

I didn't expect him to give anything. That's not his job. What the people of Texas need is competent leadership, not a hundred grand here and there from Trump the grandstander.

Of course this one thing isn't going to change my mind about him, don't be ridiculous.

It's all optics. He's not a giver and never has been.

Jeez people are easily bought!
