I wish we had $90 ambulances.

Here in the states, an ambulance ride is minimum $1,000 😭

I'm just trying to help promote good policy because I am in this too.
I wanted the ACA to include the public option, and was fuming when it was removed

My wife and daughter were hit by an inattentive driver while out for a walk one night. Both went to hospital in the same ambulance. Of course they billed twice.

I see Sanders health care as a good idea. Get rid of Medicaid and slowly work Medicare for all into the system. Healthcare Corporations would then have to compete and not price fix.

Might as well call an Uber. It would be cheaper and might be quicker.

I once needed a lawyer, this was years ago, he charged (at the time) something like $275.00 per hour for office time (I forget the exact figure) and $200.00 per hour for his travel to and from the courthouse.

He kept running in and out of the courtroom, then I learned he had three other clients in court that day stacked up. He made $800.00 per hour commuting to and from work.

Medicare isnt a known killer. It has saved far more lives than the alternative of leaving the elderly at the mercy of for-profit insurance corporations. No regulations on for-profit nursing homes? How do they cut costs? 50 residents per staff member? The free market is brutal and deeply dysfunctional for health care.

Yeah look at what the free market has done to the prices and advances of TV's, cell phones, appliances, computers...
On the other hand we have the govt to thank for the low prices in education, medical care, housing, energy, food..

Buying a cancer treatment is not like buying a cell phone...Thinking that it is the same is part of the big delusion. The health care corporations of course know this and can rip off the "consumer" as they please.
