If that was CNN's intent Irma's path should have ceased on their map once Maria's cone went north/northeast of the Bahamas because Irma went south/southwest from there.
And if they did that, you'd be complaining that Irma's path was misleading. No matter what CNN did, you would be complaining.

Irma's path made it all the way to Tennessee on CNN's map. Irma's entire tropical life was on there.
And? That's obviously showing that FL and the SE aren't going to get hit again. So where's the confusion?
But the question is, if these Trumpees believe CNN is so fake, why the Hell do they continue to be glued to the screen. Ever heard of a remote control ?
That is curious. I don't like Fox News, I couldn't tell you anything about their news reports or the articles on their website. It's just not something I ever pay attention to. Since the OP is so convinced that everything on CNN is fake, why even look at it?

I can't speak for the OP but imo everything at CNN isn't fake...just a lot of things.
That makes it suspect 24/7.
And there are several folks on YouTube that watch CNN and post their most outrageous lies as they unfold. I don't watch CNN. I watch those youtubers that recap their hijinx.

Nothing says fake news like covering recent events accurately...

This wasn't fake news. It was irrelevant news.
Putting up Irma's track is like posting the legit score of the 1976 Super Bowl on the day of the latest Super Bowl.
Not fake. Just irrelevant.
