There was a time when this nation engaged in civil discourse, and such behavior would have been unheard of. Unfortunately, with the advent of social media, crude reality TV shows, and governmental leaders who talk filth like it's normal discourse, we now have a nation of uneducated, unhealthy, loud-mouthed bigots and know-nothings, who think such behavior is their right.
She needed to be handed a hard hat, be told, "Let's go to work," and spend a 20 hour shift doing what those guys do. And every time she wanted a snack or drink, be told, "get your ass to work. You make me sick." If she didn't electrocute herself before the shift was over, I'm sure she'd have a better perspective.
Judges use to give out punishments like this which served two purposes.
First, it teaches them a lesson, like you point out and one in humility.
Second, it keeps the jails and system unclogged for those who really need to be behind bars.
I'm sure with her entitlement mentality, she went of Facebook or Twitter to give a biased/skewed report of what happened to get her narcissistic view re-enforced. The sad thing is that people like this never really learn without being forced to. Their upbringing by permissive helicopter parent/s has really not prepared from for real life will be like.
