Entitlement mentality so pervasive in our society.

Quote:
An electrician has had a drink dumped on him by a woman who yelled "you have time to eat, but not fix my power... you make me sick".

The incident is said to have happened two days after Hurricane Irma struck, when Daniel Wilson, a father of three, stopped by Taco Bell in Georgia, US, to get some food after a 12-hour shift.

I had a woman throw a drink in my face one time, a family member. I hip tossed her on her back...if I wasn't a gentleman I would have done more.

IDGAF what you're going through or if you're female. Dump a drink on me, you're learning a lesson that most 5 year old boys learn but entitled females in this country can't fathom. You assault, you get assaulted.

She needed to be handed a hard hat, be told, "Let's go to work," and spend a 20 hour shift doing what those guys do. And every time she wanted a snack or drink, be told, "get your ass to work. You make me sick." If she didn't electrocute herself before the shift was over, I'm sure she'd have a better perspective.

Too bad no one knew who she is. He could wait and make sure her power is the last to be turned on.

Our town was hit with an ice storm a couple years ago. Power on my street was off for 10 days, some people got their on sooner, some later. It was a time when the community reached out to help one another. We took neighbors food and generators, offered showers and lodging if we had it. We took coffee and snacks to the crews working long hours to get the power on and the town put up a billboard thanking all the workers and volunteers.

Honestly sometimes I wish people like her could be drug to the town square and have some manners beat into them.

No respect.

This is the type of person we would like to see karma catch up with to make her life miserable for a time so she could understand that the despite what she has been told the world does not revolve around her.

It would have been good fun for the line man to make sure that her house is the very last on the street to get power and when he finally does make it to the pole outside her place and she comes out to berate him more then he could say "sorry I need to go get some parts and I will come back later" and later is days...

My thoughts, too.

"Hey lady, what's your address? We'll be sure to make a note of it and give you 'special' attention."

Now that is a great idea. She would be a whimpering mess within an hour. Sadly, this have become the norm in our society today.
