Wait .. I thought that MS-13 posed no real threat . Remember all the liberals and media saying Trump was just exaggerating MS-13, Nancy Pelosi even criticized him for his harsh words against them .

Yet now liberal Governor of NY is putting $20 million more to fighting MS-13

But we won’t hear the left or the media admit Trump was right about MS-13

—-

Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced Monday the state will put another $20 million toward efforts to crack down on MS-13 and gang recruitment on Long Island.

Cuomo announced his plan in Brentwood, a community at the center of the fight against MS-13 violence in the New York City suburbs.

Cuomo says the funding is part of a broader effort to take on gangs like MS-13, which has been blamed for at least 25 killings across Long Island since January 2016

Yup, more Leftist hypocricy once again.

BTW, Cuomo is doing this only because of his re-election campaign. He has been proposing a whole bunch of things lately.

Ok, news flash ! Gangs have always been around. Go to any inner city and you will find them. This is nothing new. Anytime you have a group of people who band together for protection or profit, you are going to have these situations.

Glad to see NYC is trying to do something about it. Instead of complaining, your side should be thrilled.

I have to hand it to them. Red Tide in Florida is a multi-billion dollar problem and Red Tide Rich Scott is throwing....like 1 1/2 million at it. He recently started upping it to 3 million, just enough to spread propaganda and tell people it's not bad anymore (it's horrible - record levels still).

This after he rolled back a couple BILLION that citizens and lawmakers voted for a long time ago.

I have to hand it to NY. You need to be activist with problems of all kinds and not ignore them.

It's the suburbs which is why it's a disturbing new trend.

But the Democrats RECENTLY mocked anyone who expressed concern over MS-13. This is RECENT history.

Gangs are around here too, but when they show up in a small town that didn’t have them before it can end up being very dangerous. I believe that’s what happened in Rhode Island. Here in Houston MS-13 has a much larger presence, but we also have other gangs so their crimes don’t seem as noticeable. They tend to only hurt their own people, which is sad. They also have more pushback from other gangs and the police who are more used to them here.

Democrats have always claimed MS13 is an imaginary gang concocted by FOX news to frighten the public.
