Democrats have always claimed MS13 is an imaginary gang concocted by FOX news to frighten the public.
Read katygirl’s post. The main danger of MS-13 is that their presence is across the states but their most noticed in Long Island and Northern Virginia. Were because these are suburban areas they are far and ahead the most violent group in those two areas. In the rest of the D.C area which has many more gangs that are several times more violent than all of Northern Virginia MS-13 isn’t talked about because they aren’t the big guys in the actual violent hoods. The main thing that has continued to separate Ms-13 from other gangs isn’t an increased number of killings than other gangs but the fact that their establishing themselves in large wealthy to lower middle class suburban areas. The Bronx while significantly safer today than it was years ago, still has several times more murders than all of along Island yet alone MS-13 on Long Island. D.C has the same ratio with Northern Virginia as well. It’s not that Long Island is now more dangerous than the city. It’s that suburban people are being affected and this sort of crime isn’t supposed to happen in the suburbs...
While I'm a Democrat, lean left and despise Trump, there's no question liberals downplay MS-13. Because they are so vehemently opposed to Trump, it seems that they have to go 180 degress in the other direction of anything he says. This is the sad state of political discourse, and of course the right did the same thing with Obama. Romney-care implemented nationally was suddenly a communist takeover that would lead to Maoist re-education camps.
Bottom line is: MS-13 is very dangerous, and it's membership is fueled by illegal immigrants from Central American and their children.
Not all Central Americans are in MS-13, but all MS-13 members are Central Americans and mostly illegal or born to illegals.
It is fair to say that without illegal immigration, you would have no MS13.
