What to do when your own healthcare plans suck balls and everyone knows it?

Improve your plans so that they offer reliable coverage across the American population spectrum? Nah...that would be "socialism."

Instead, let's sabotage ACA! Lots we can do to destabilize the thing and make premiums skyrocket. Then our ****ty plans will look better by comparison and we can force people into submission.

The net result will always be one and the same: tens of millions losing coverage and a proliferation of crappy coverage options that allow insurance companies to bend you over and **** you hard if you actually get sick.

Because here in America, we value our "freedom" to "choose" NOT to have quality coverage if we get hit by a car, get cancer, or have a heart attack! God forbid we lose that important right!

ACA has real flaws that could use fixing, but Republicans have never had ANY answers to improve healthcare, because their naive free market principle approaches fundamentally don't work for healthcare. Never have, never will.

Sabotage the ACA?

The ACA is a disaster that has been imploding since the day it was passed.

So why would Trump outright sabotage it?

It makes no political sense to do that. Much smarter to let it die.

There is no disguising Trump's intentions on this one. His side has not been able to craft anything close to a good HC plan, even though they threw stones at Obamacare for 8 years. So, because he is a vindictive little man, he has elected to do it this way........a way that will hurt more people than it will ever help.

Obamacare needs tweaking, no question about it, and most people (even GOP people) agree that it can be fixed. But Trump decided to poison the water just because he can.

ACA is already imploding with the sky rocketing premiums and big deductables while some states are losing their providers and in others the subsidies are drying up.
On paper the ACA looked like a good idea but when there are more people taking from anything then they are putting in the jar of cookies is bound to be empty sooner or later.

What Trump is doing is making the Senate do something about the ACA. The subsidies were going to end anyways with or without Trump.

The thing is whatever Congress comes up with to replace or repair the ACA they and their people need to be on it and be made to pay just as any other American.

I think they should repair what is already in place because I don't think they have the will to come up with something better.

Have you seen what he signed recently?

It makes total sense in his mind. How else are you going to fulfill your promise to repeal and replace it when you can't convince the public that you have something better? He knows he will have enough grey area to argue that it's not anything f he did and that it's just ACA falling under it's own weight. Conservatives are already arguing that.

But the truth is that ACA could be fixed, Trump will sabotage it, and the eventual replacement will be a LOT worse. You think ACA is bad...just wait.

I remember a time you leftist wouldn't even acknowledge Obamacare had REAL flaws.

As Johnathan Gruber said.... "Lack of transparency is a huge political advantage. And basically, call it the stupidity of the American voter or whatever, but basically that was really, really critical for the thing to pass."

When referring to the "stupidity of the American voter" obviously he was referring to people who supported Obama and Democrats passing the law, not the people who tried to warn you.

When we tried to warn you, when we told you it's too expensive and that it's hurting too many Americans, you and your leftist masters ignored us, even tried silencing us. So instead we spoke with our vote and voted for someone who understood it has major flaws. What did you expect us to do???... just bend over and keep taking it????

You got a choice, let it fail on it's own or demand that Congress start working with President Trump. You tried the first way, but as long as it worked for you, you didn't care what it did to others. Now you'll pay the piper for your (leftist) ignorance and refusal to work with others.
