Because the following quotes from the article completely disprove your attempt to interpret it incorrectly:

"Black students are most segregated in the Northeast"

"The Northeast was the only region where, on average, the share of black students in almost completely minority schools has risen since 1968"

Source: UCLA's Civil Rights Project report

You do know what "share has risen" means, no? It means Blacks have been even more segregated.

No it doesnt, the whole point of my post is to define the word segregated. Did you forget that ????????? because that is what you are responding to.

The article defines segregated as minority (specifically black)students going to majority minority schools.

so a 50.01 black hispanic, jewish, Asian,Filipino, Tanio native american school is consider segregated, but a 50.01 white school isnt.

im 100% sure you understand this and that you just dont care. it is sad.

Yes, it does. The UCLA Civil Rights Project report specifically states that Blacks have become even more segregated in the very blue NE states of the US. Their share of the enrollment in minority schools has increased.

was not addressing the "net share" in my post. Go back and reread my post so you understand, im addressing the very argument of segregation.

net share likely has to do with population growth in and of itself, meaning it ties together and is just as flawed.

Of course not, because it totally destroys your ridiculous premise.

Racially Segregated?

According the 2010 Census, Oregon's demographics are as follows:

White: 83.6% (78.5% non-Hispanic)
Black or African American: 1.8%
American Indian and Alaska Native: 1.4%
Asian: 3.7%
Native Hawaiian and Other Pacific Islander: 0.3%
Other race: 5.3%
Two or more races: 3.8%

Whites are pretty much the overwhelming group there.

It is rather hard to segregate people when there is literally nobody to segregate.

They kill babies and sick people too easily. Druggies flock there. They self-identify as liberal. Gallup called them the 6th (tied with Hawaii) most liberal state.

"Left wing “antifas,” wearing red bandana masks alongside other far-left protesters, have rioted multiple times and caused millions of dollars of damage, with threats from left wing groups even forcing the cancellation of a parade because it featured a float from the local Republican Party... The norms of protest and counterprotest—mostly verbal shouting and sign-waving—are quickly crumbling in Portland. The left wing antifa have even threatened preemptive violence in the name of the defending the city from groups they say promote violence...A liberal nirvana, a crunchy, weed-and-hops city where Republicans and plastic bags alike have been all but evicted, Portland has embodied and outpaced many of the urban trends of the early 21st century: gentrification and co-ops, food trucks and footbridges, transitions to a bike-and-pedestrian economy. It is, as a conspicuous show has encapsulated, a progressive paradise."

Appalling Abortion Radicalism in Oregon
If you are an illegal immigrant whose fetus is in her third trimester of development, and you decide that you'd prefer a boy instead, your totally elective, sex-selective, late-term abortion is not only legal under this law -- taxpayers will pay for it, or your insurance plan must cover it with no copay. It's difficult to imagine anything more extreme, aside from compulsory abortions.

The number of patients using the nation's first physician-aided suicide program, Oregon's Death with Dignity Act, has continued to grow since voters first approved the law nearly two decades ago. A new study shows a 12 percent yearly increase in lethal prescriptions from 1998 to 2013, with an unexplained jump of nearly 30 percent in 2015. The research doesn't include 2016 numbers, which haven't been released yet.

Look at the neighborhoods and schools.

Regardless of the racial demographics of the overall population, that's (neighborhoods and schools) where racial segregation rears its ugly head.

I'm pointing out problems with too much racial segregation in certain areas of the country. Does that sound like a David Duke supporter?
