you know, the dossier that has been cited as one of the grounds for Mueller's investation....I wonder what they have to hide and what this means for Mueller's investigation into Trump-Russian "collusion"?:
Mueller's team has been to England to talk to the British investigator, and they have talked to him by phone. Mueller wants to know who paid for the investigation of Trump. That's why the 5th. They will not reveal who the original purchaser was.
All Mueller needs to do is verify the info in the dossier. If he can't, they will throw it out.

Parts of it have already been verified as correct.
In fact there is no part of the dossier that has actually been proven false yet.
What parts have been verified, can you provide sources?
There was a meeting with Trump Jr and a Russian lawyer.
That's been verified. It was also noted that the guy that set up the meeting works for Fusion.
And the Russian lawyer was denied a visa but the Obama administration gave her a waiver and let her in.

No, there are practically no leaks coming from the Mueller investigation. There are no specifics yet, but this has been reported in Reuters:
Quote:
Senator Richard Burr, the Republican chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, and Mark Warner, the committee’s ranking Democrat, are leading what other committee members from both parties called a serious effort to pursue the allegations dug up by Steele. “As I understand it, a good deal of his information remains unproven, but none of it has been disproven, and considerable amounts of it have been proven,” Democrat Sheldon Whitehouse, a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, said in an interview with Reuters. He did not elaborate.

Steele won't talk the the House, the Senate and refuses to talk to the courts in 2 countries (US & UK).
But you think he talked to Mueller ? And if he did why hasn't Mueller been able to verify anything since that "talk" happened last summer ?
Lots of poor info on this thread. Christopher Steele is British, so he doesn't have to plead anything, the senate committee has no jurisdiction over him. The guy they want to talk to is Glenn Simpson and his involvement in the dossier is only a part of what they want to hear from him. The rest has to do with...Russian meddling in US affairs.
This whole thing is dirty as can be,
