I'd be satisfied if this Robert Mueller buffoon would just come out and admit that the whole basis of his investigation is a thoroughgoing fraud, a piece of fiction disingenuously labeled as "opposition research," which was manufactured by sniveling partisan hacks in the employ of the Hillary Clinton for President campaign, created pursuant to the express order of and paid for by said campaign.

It's probably too much to expect that level of refreshing candor, however.

Yes, let's all look at that "allowed snippet"...
Quote:
The agency, when Mr. Mueller headed it, soft-pedaled an investigation highly embarrassing to Mrs. Clinton as well as the Obama Russia reset policy. More recently, if just one of two things is true—Russia sponsored the Trump Dossier, or Russian fake intelligence prompted Mr. Comey’s email intervention—then Russian operations, via their impact on the FBI, influenced and continue to influence our politics in a way far more consequential than any Facebook ad, the preoccupation of John McCain, who apparently cannot behold a mountain if there’s a molehill anywhere nearby.
"If just one of two things is true"?

That's called, at best, wishful thinking, and at worst, propagandist innuendo.

I call it what it is - part of the desperation of the Cult 45 clergy to misdirect from the ongoing Mueller investigation.

Folks, our FBI is a mess. They have been so heavily compromised by the Obama administration's unethical behaviors that it's hard to trust anyone. No wonder there are so many leaks damaging to the Trump administration. The comments are as interesting as the article.

The truth is finally starting to shake loose.
Nope, the vast Majority of Congress trust the man, and since trump is scared to death of him it makes it all the more imperative that he continue his Investigation. So sorry the Investigation is Not going to end for trump to even try and do so would result in his removal from office and that would be that.

You guys are absolutely NUTS! You actually think Donald Trump appointed Rosenstein as part of a conspiracy so he could what? So he could then appoint a special counsel against Trump, so Trump could prove they are out to get him?

At the time, everyone agreed Mueller was the best fit for the job, except for Trump, who felt it should never be investigated, and who proceeded to obstruct. If he were really innocent, as he claims, and if he just kept his mouth shut, then the facts would bear out. I think that is what he is really afraid of...
This apparently has you pretty rattled. I did not assert anything you are saying....you're spinning out.

I never thought Mueller was the right choice. Hhmmm, a former director of the FBI investigating things involving the FBI and the DOJ. Yea, makes sense to me!! (not)

Btw, Sessions was a sh*tty choice for Attny Gen. He's a swamp creature himself. He's an epic fail.

The Trump dossier exists, and we know who created it. Now we know who paid for it. The left was fine with unnamed sources endlessly trashing the Trump administration but can't handle the heat when its directed back at them.

And all this is coming from places like WaPo so the left can't say its a right wing hit piece. Kudos to WaPo. It took guts to actually publish something that might undermine the Trump Russia investigation.

I have to believe that Mueller is probably one third to one half of the way through his investigation. At this point, let him finish and see what it produces. Once we have that information, analyze it against what makes sense, and go from there.

Sure, it makes sense to evaluate Mueller's results against known conflicts. One thing we already know is that this whole mess has more tentacles than an octopus. And is equally slimy.

No, what it means is that BOTH don't have to be true in order for this to be an issue.

The Donald seemed a little bit exuberant this morning. It isn't a big deal who paid for it; it IS a big deal what it says. From what I hear it will read like a real world version of a National Enquirer story.

I agree that, based on the latest information, Mueller, Comey and Rosenstein should recuse themselves and close the Trump investigation. Special prosecutor needs to investigate them for their role in Uranium One scandal.
