There has been no named "Obama for America" organization since 2013.

It became 'Organization for America,' and it was not directly connected to the Obama campaign after 2012.

The "Obama Campaign paid" is an outright lie. Organization for America is a non-profit grass-roots organization like the Tea Party that worked for progressive policies mostly through volunteers. It is not "the Obama campaign."
Thank you for setting the record straight. Wow - the thread title is certainly misleading.

According to The New York Times, officials in the meeting said that Brennan “indicated that unnamed advisers to Mr. Trump might be working with the Russians to interfere in the election.

All this madness because of a fake dossier paid for by Obama, Clinton and the DNC. You Democrats have very dirty hands.

Yes. And emails stolen from the DNC and given to Wikileaks were certainly 'fruit if the poisonous vine'. But it did NOT stop Trump from talking about it at length - at ever campaign stop and praising Wikileaks constantly.

No - the fake dossier was not paid for by "Obama'. Let's remember who originally hired Fusion. A REPUBLICAN.

Lastly, do you imagine that Mueller's investigation is going to rest on a bunch of notes made by Christopher Steele?

I don't. Not for one minute.

Questions for republicans,

Did the republicans who first hired Fusion GPS to investigate Donald Trump do anything wrong?

Should republican groups involved with Fusion GPS be investigated?

Or are the republicans who originally hired Fusion GPS to investigate Donald Trump innocent, and only democrats who later funded the same investigation guilty?
Excellent questions all. I would like to see the republicans answer them.

That is exactly what is being looked into at this point. It's unclear as the investigation has been stonewalled by the FBI so far. Hopefully it will all become clear soon.

The "inner circle" as some would say.

That same law firm is representing Podesta, GPS Fusion and the lawyer representing them was also on Hillary's campaign team advising her.
AND during all of this, GPS employees moved into CNN to push the "authenticity" of this dossier. There's a word for that.....COLLUSION!

We can go on and on about Obama and Hillary- both of whom I am against. However, whatever they have done illegally- nothing is ever going to happen to them due to their position and wealth. I see no point in continuing to dig up dirt- they will NEVER be held accountable-period.

Conservative website Washington Beacon hired Fusion GPS, not Republicans.

I just heard about this tonight on the news. How'd I miss it in 2017? Maybe because no one else covered the story. It sounds to me like Obama and Hillary split the bill for the fake Russian dossier. Looks like they got their money's worth. Oh wait...

Agreed!

In fact, we should spy on every political campaign, just in case they might be up to something.

This has been going on for two years now, if there is no proof that the Russian investigation was initiated because of Fusion GPS. They aren't stonewalling, there is noting to support that claim.

Well, the good news is AG Barr is investigating now. You must be really relieved.
