Why did all those women pick this time to come forward about Harvey Weinstein? Why are women coming forward about George HW Bush?
Exactly.
Women recently came forward about many others as well. There are male victims that recently spoke up as well. The victims (men and women) often tell why they didn't speak up then and why they finally decided to come forward now. The gladly answer that question.
He's been in public service for some time. Why didn't they come forward when he was Chief Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court? Why didn't they come forward when he twice ran for Governor? Why didn't they come forward when he first announced his candidacy for US Senate? Why did it all come to light when it was too late for acting Senator Luther Strange to win the primary last month? It all seems a bit too convenient (and I'm not saying the allegations aren't true). Guess that's the way politics rolls in this country now. The opposition isn't worried about the truth or justice, they're more concerned with timing alleged incidents to up their chances of winning win.
It is clear to me some people would rather vote for Charles Manson or Ted Bundy if they happened to be republicans than to vote for a democrat, and that if Charles Manson or Ted Bundy ran and were accused of murder these people would come up with all kinds of excuses why people were accusing them of murder. Heck, I bet even if they were already convicted they'd still rather vote for them than for a democrat, and make the excuse that they thought they were convicted wrongly.
A good rule of thumb: If a holier-than-thou conservative Christian talks about family values and condemns gays and liberals, you can safely assume they have a scandal, especially a sexual one, just waiting to be discovered proving they're self-righteous hypocrites.
It's very similar to those yelling about racism all the time. When you pay attention, you can see they are racists. It's why we keep seeing these fake racist acts all the time that go back to the minorities that actually committed them.

It's like how Democrats voted for Hillary even though they knew she covered for her husband and called his accusers all sorts of names. She enabled him, and the Dems voted for her. They'd vote again for Bill in a heartbeat. They'd probably vote Weiner in if he was running.
It only matters if a Republican does it...just look at Bill Clinton.

These women have nothing to gain and everything to lose by coming forward now. You think they are hoping to receive death threats?
Maybe they see what president p-grabber got away with, and it gave them the nerve to speak up against this holy rolling pervert.
