Most people really don't give a rip about the technical aspects of these rifles. Thats far less important (in fact, almost meaningless) especially give their capability of killing large numbers of people very quickly. And thats what people care about.

Aren't all firearms capable of that ? Aren't all forms of transportation for that matter ? Thousands more die in automotive accidents a year. So what is your point ? Just say it. You would like all firearms banned.
No, a single shot rifle isn't very quick to reload.
And forget the very old change of subject about cars or swimming pools or???

All firearms are dangerous. Just say you want all of them banned and we'll move on.
And others have proven box trucks on open streets to be way more "efficient" at that, but have we banned those? No, we have put up concrete road blocks, blocked streets with larger trucks, stepped up security, and put protocols in place for truck rental companies to have a chain of command in terms of notifying law enforcement of suspicious rental situations.
Point being that "efficient in killing people" is not a reason to ban a product that is lawfully and legally used by 99% of the people who put their hands on them.
And that is an attempt to change the subject. An obvious ploy.

Nope, its not a change of topic, its pointing out how vague your criteria is and how it can be applied to whatever anyone wants, which makes for a sloppy piece of legislation. Nice try though.
