It's irrelevant that the 3% that commit 50% of murders are legal. Who the hell wants to make their life safer at the expense of the law abiding majority?
I brought it up to show a clear example of how your "statistical analysis" of using USA wide averages is completely flawed. Doesn't mater if your math is right, if you're asking the wrong question.
You would have to do a case by case statistical analysis (not USA wide averages) for each city/state/suburb to get an accurate picture of which areas would be safer and those that would not.
No doubt the majority of safe neighborhoods would be even safer with illegals gone. That's all we need to know.
The point is that illegal immigrants commit far less crimes than the general population, you should be more concerned by legal residents. They have no interest in drawing attention to themselves or their community, they are constantly looking over their shoulder petrified of even a minor offense.

The general population is over 320 million including illegal aliens. Let's say that there are 20 million illegal aliens then. Gee, what are the odds that the 300 million commit more crimes than the 20 million? I wonder how many illegal aliens haven't been caught yet using fake or stolen SS numbers or are working for cash evading taxes? The point is that any crime they do commit wouldn't have happened if they hadn't violated our borders and immigration laws.
