Obama: We need to elect more women because 'men seem to be having problems'

Former President Obama called for more women to be elected to office “because men seem to be having some problems these days," French news agency AFP reported.

Obama, who made the comment at an invitation-only event in Paris on Saturday, was referring to the numerous allegations of sexual misconduct made against prominent men, including several U.S. lawmakers.

"Not to generalize, but women seem to have a better capacity than men do, partly because of their socialization," Obama added, according to AFP.

1- He could have given up his spot to HRC in 2008.

2- The men who are having problems are more likely to be people with whom he hangs around and takes their political donations.

The problem is who we elect. Men run our country. This is why men decide what benefits women get when they have no clue. We need more women in office.

I have no problems with more women in office. But merely having more women in office or prominent positions isn't going to solve sexual misconduct.

I have no problems with women in office, I just don't like the current options that are running for office

Sounds like Obama and the puppet masters have someone in mind and trying to set the stage for their pick.
Pinning their hopes on gender with all the sexual harassment focus currently seems like a good idea to them. Throw in race, being they are the party of racism, and they always do that, and its safe to say they have a women of some color in mind.
Bernie Sanders, if he runs, could be the spoiler unless they do a better job of rigging the primary.

We should have more women in office bc we need better and more widespread representation (you know...that actually represents the population).
You can make the argument that there is a dearth of good candidates, but that hasn't stopped the men.

Sadly, I think there is a particular mindset of folks who go into this.

We need fewer puppets of big money donors and Wall Street, first and foremost. What good is it with a woman instead of a man if that woman is merely taking marching orders from the top 0.1%?

Why don’t we just elect better people instead of just electing women just because they are women? Trading in one problem (sexual harrasment) for another (reverse sex discrimination).

Obama is a moron and a hypocrite (bet he wouldn’t have given up his presidential bid for a woman).
