Nuking wouldn't be "just be done with it". Nuking likely would be the beginning of WW3, with China and Russia joining forces with NK, coming after the USA.
If we "just nuke NK", there would be no Olympic cames in SK. Do you think atletes would go anywhere near the area to be harmed by radiation that would be spread in that region? SK would be poisoned by the radiation too, especially the parts of SK closest to NK.
China's miliary is THREE times as large us the United States military. A war with China is almost guaranteed if we "just nuke NK". The United States could lose a war against China. We could end up being citizens of China after it's all over, with our assets seized and given to the Republic of China.

No one is wishing for nuclear war. But that is what it has come to. It is us or them. The one who strikes first will be better off, so we need to get on with it. As for SK and the rest, well, that is not our problem. We need to protect Americans first.
With respect to China, what they gonna do, swim here? They can't hurt us and they don't want to. They have all our money already We are all economic victims of China. It would be a good thing if the cozy relationship with our corporations and billionaires came to an end. Remember Trump promised that - but did not deliver.

Trump is trying to appease Russia who was banned from the games.
I was wondering when Trump would be denouncing the Olympic decision against Russia for doping. I fully expect Trump to side with Russia and say that Russia is being treated unfairly.
Agreed, Nuking N Korea will definitely get China and Russia into the game and next thing you know the Earth is relegated to a pile of smoking slag as tens of thousands of nukes rain down on the Earth,odd way to make America<>
