I believe he might have done stupid things (not unlike the stuff most of us women have had to put up but knew how to handle it without making a smear of it).

So you don't believe Franken sexually assaulted women? Stupid things are not necessarily illegal, but groping is assault. I bet your're ticked that the dems pressured him out.
How do Franken supporters feel about the dem brass pressuring him to resign? He never actually admitted to the accusations. Do you believe he sexual assaulted women, or do you believe he was treated unfairly?
What supporters? He is just a name with (D) attached and a vote. When the Governor of his state puts in a replacement with a (D) after her name then all is well.
There is no morality in politics, it's all about power. No party is more or less offensive.

Not true. The Republican Party is massively more offensive. Not only is it run by hypocrites and sexual predators (even the POTUS supports child molesters), it has sold out to the multinational corporate class, handing our jobs over to other nations, and our public lands to oil and gas companies for private profit. Not to mention the misogyny and racism that saturates that party, and the fact that the majority of its base doesn't accept factual evidence. Nope, sorry--won't accept false equivalencies.
Franken has been exposed as a sexual predator by 7 women, he has denied 6 of them. Without the pic of him, he would deny them all. He's a scumbag of the highest order. You got to laugh at those women defending him while criticizing Trump.
The problem for Trump and Moore's supporters now is Franken and Conyers have become examples that they can't match. like Trump and Moore, Yes they are unaware their behavior was abusive; yes they deny the accounts and say some of them are not true, but nevertheless they step down. It is an example of what they know the voters expect out of their leaders. Conservative leaders feed on the cancer within their constituencies. Trump called it. He could murder someone in broad daylight and still be loved.
I can see why so many women have come forward re the abuse.
From some of the responses here, I would not want to run into some of these posters on a dark street. Sounds like they have the morals of a tomcat. Anyone who would defend Trump has got a problem. But I won't go into the detail of what I think it is.
And no, I am not angry at the Dems for "dumping" on Franken.
What a shame the Repubs don't have the you-know-whats to dump Trump.
