I remember when this team insisted flynn jr was nor part of the transition yet he was given a government email.
yep. been trying to find out if it was a "@ptt.gov" address ( presidential transfer team official address ) which i'm assuming are the ones mueller received from the GSA. flynn jr was a proponent of "pizzagate" so i'd be curious to see if there is anything in those emails to indicate whether he was intentionally using the myth or if he actually believed in that stupidity.
no hysteria here. just an average amount of curiosity over what the ptt.gov emails will reveal and if any of the recent statements to the mueller investigation are contradicted by those emails.
But [Trump] did add to the growing conservative criticism of Mueller's move to gain access to thousands of emails sent and received by Trump officials before the start of his administration, yielding attacks from transition lawyers and renewing chatter that Trump may act to end the investigation.
"It's not looking good. It's quite sad to see that. My people were very upset about it," Trump said. "I can't imagine there's anything on them, frankly. Because, as we said, there's no collusion. There's no collusion whatsoever."
If Trump is innocent his best course of action is to let the investigation run its course and more or less ignore it publicly. the worst possible thing he could do for himself is to try to hinder it. My gut feeling is if he's this upset over it, he's likely hiding something. It may not even be Russia collusion but financial crimes.
This investigation should go at least as long as the Benghazi one did. I mean, after all, it's only fair.
Agreed. If the bumbling right-wingers can't find any on Hillary - and they've been investigating her for the better part of a decade - it's only fair to let the investigation on Trump continue for at least as long. Of course, the stupid part is that if any one of us did the crap we already know Trump has done (not pay taxes, etc.), we'd already be in prison... but the far-right doesn't care. Hypocrites.
The fact that the Trump transition attorneys are hyperventilating about this just adds to the flaming pile of poop that Trump calls “the best”. The fact that Trump supporters actually believe these allegations is even more hilarious. Those attorneys should probably look at the facts before they cry foul next time. It may actually give them the tiniest appearance of competence. Take a deep breath and relax. Mueller’s got this.
